Jumpy Gym

There is a new "jumpy" place that opened near us. Reece has been twice and loves it. Matt and I took her once and then yesterday we had a play date with her three little girlfriends from school. They are quite the foursome and always have a blast playing together. Here are some pictures from both of her outings at the Jumpy Gym.

Big Girl Bed

Reece has always randomly slept with us but the last couple of months it has been everynight. I honeslty love her sleeping that closeto her but our bed is just not big enough and none of us get a good night sleep. Plus I know in the long run, it is not good for her. So, Saturday night Matt and I put her in her crib, kissed her goodnight, and walked away. She screamed for 5 minutes and climbed out----- she slept with us that night. I put her in there Saturday morning and hid, sure enough she climbed out again. On to Plan B, Matt converted her crib into a toddler day bed. We made a really big deal about how great it was and went to Target to get her a big pillow. She was so tired from running erands and fell asleep in her car seat. I carried her to her new bed and she took her nap just fine. However, bed time did not go so well. Matt and I stayed with her for 1 1/2 hours until she fell asleep. She woke up again at 11:00 and then at 2:00. Both times I just went in adn patted her back and she went right to sleep. Then at 4:45 she started screaming. I went in and found her on the floor. Poor baby fell off the bed again. She did it once when we were playing. I let her sleep the rest of the night with us. Here are some pictures of my baby in her big girl bed.

The pillow case on her big pillow is one that I had when I was little. My mom saved it all this time. I bought Reece a bright pink one but thought it would be fun to use mine too.
We will see how it goes tonight.

On a side note: My cousin and his wife had their first baby last night, Addison Reece. Don't you love that name. I plan on taking lots of pictures of Reece Jillianne and Addison Reece Easter! Congrats to them. I have not seen any pictures yet, but I bet she is beautiful.

Where have I been?

Well, one of my New Year's resolutions was to blog more------ obviously I blew that one. Let's hope my weight loss/healthy eating/working out one lasts (actually I have not really started that one either; but I have hope) :)
I have been working hard on creating Reece's 2009 Shutterfly book. Yesterday was the last day of their New Year sale so I had to get it done. I think it turned out really good and can't wait to get it in the mail. I know you want to see it:
